Project Overview

The Safety Action Plan is our county's foundation to improve roadway safety. Using recent crash data from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), it will include the development of a High-Injury Network to identify the road segments in our county most in need of safety improvements. From there, we'll be able to prioritize safety improvement projects and develop strategies to help us achieve our vision for roadway safety in Lancaster County. In addition, we plan to use definable actions and performance measures to track our progress.
